Rally Bohemia Historic is nearing the Finish (FIA EHSRC)

The crews of historic cars have completed the last but one section of special stages. The situation at the head has not changed; “Pedro” is raising his lead over Mats Myrsell step by step.

The order of the first six crews of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship has not changed during the morning section of special stages in the region of Mladá Boleslav. The Italian crew “Pedro“ – Baldaccini in Lancia Rally 037 has increased its lead from the Saturday evening by further fifteen seconds, and now they are leading over the Swedish pair Mats Myrsell – Esko Junttila in Porsche 911 by forty seconds. The third place is held fast by Carlo Marenzana – Luca Beltrame with another Porsche 911. All the first three crews are leading crews of their categories at the same time.

Within the classification of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship the fourth place is held by the Hungarians Ferenc Wirtmann – György Barna and the fifth by the Swedish Tony Jansson – Daniel Westlund, both the crews in Fords Escort RS.

There is a fight for the sixth place between the Italian crew Giuseppe Bosurgi – Stefano Cirillo in Lancia Rally 037 and the Swedish crew Christoffer Söderberg – Erik Davidsson in Ford Escort, whose order has changed, and currently there is only a difference of 8 seconds between them in favour of the Italian crew.

Now the last section of the competition is in front of the crews and at 1:30 p.m. we will be able to see them at the finish in Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) in Mladá Boleslav.
