Rally Bohemia 2015 has new web site and Supplementary Regulations approved

The basic documents of all competition parts under the name “Supplementary Regulations” have already been at your disposal at the new website www.rallybohemia.cz. And, step by step, you will find further information about the rally prepared there.

The Supplementary Regulations published also include a complete programme of the event and a time schedule, which give all the important information. Let us mention just the essential ones. 42nd anniversary of Rally Bohemia will be held as the fourth event of Rally Championship of the Czech Republic, the ninth event of FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship, the fourth event of Historic Rally Championship of the Czech Republic, and the final third event of Regional Rally Cup. Traditionally, also Rally Bohemia Legend will be part of the event.

The main programme of Rally Bohemia 2015 will start on Friday 10th July in the evening, when both contemporary and historical vehicles will take part in the Ceremonial Start in Staroměstské Square in Mladá Boleslav. On Saturday morning a shakedown (test-stage) arranged at Hrdlořezy very close to Mladá Boleslav is on the programme. On Saturday afternoon, the competition will start for real. The first leg will take the crews through technical and demanding stages in Liberec region in the surroundings of Železný Brod and at foothills of the Jizera Mountains. They will be completed with an attractive “parallel” city special stage Bondy in Mladá Boleslav.

On Sunday, during the second leg, the competitors will be tested in two measured passages in the region of Mladá Boleslav as well as by the city special stage Staroměstská going through the centre of Mladá Boleslav. The second passing of this will close the competition. We will welcome the racing crews at the finish back in Staroměstské Square on Sunday afternoon.

The starting field of the contemporary cars of the 42nd Rally Bohemia will be always preceded by the Rally Bohemia Historic field on the stage track, i.e. by European Historic Championship and Czech Historic Rally Championship. The only exception will be the spectators’ city super SS Bondy where the contemporary cars will be presented at first, running it as their first measured test. The time between the first and second stage passages on Saturday and Sunday will be devoted to the vehicles of exhibition Rally Bohemia Legend. So, spectators along the track will experience almost non-stop sequence of various race cars, from the most advanced headed by Škoda Fabia R5 up to the vehicles dozens of years old.

The competition Headquarters and Press Centre will be newly seated in House of culture (Dům kultury) Mladá Boleslav, in Dukelská Street, during the rally. Online entry forms for the crews of all parts of the competition will have a new editable functionality accessible through the new website.
