The crew Jan Krejča – Pavel Šárka in Škoda 130 LR managed to retain the last year victory in Rally Bohemia Historic within the classification of Czech Historic Rally Championship. For the whole time, their biggest rivals were Břetislav Enge – Lucie Engová in another Škoda 130 LR.
Rally Bohemia Historic also involves Czech Historic Rally Championship. Its head have been dominated by two Škoda 130 LR cars in the hands of crews Jan Krejča – Pavel Šárka and Břetislav Enge – Lucie Engová, which were putting up a close fight for the lead in the Czech Historic Rally Championship during the whole Saturday leg.
Rally Bohemia Historic has completed the first demanding leg. The Italian crew "Pedro“ – Baldaccini that is in the lead ahead of the Sweden crew Matts Myrsell – Esko Junttila by almost twenty-five second has consolidated its position. The third place is still held by the Italian Carlo Marenzana - Luca Beltrame.
The crews of Rally Bohemia Historic have completed the first section of special stages. The leading position has been taken by the fancied Italian crew “Pedro“ – Baldaccini in Lancia Rally 037, however, only by six seconds ahead of the Sweden pair Mats Myrsell – Esko Junttila in Porsche 911 RSR.
At these moments also Rally Legend cars are setting out on the track. On this occasion we can see interesting historic racing cars during the exhibition drive without measuring times.
From the early morning there were scrutineering procedures at Rally Bohemia in Mladá Boleslav and shakedown at village Hrdlořezy. None of the leading crews is missing.
Rally Bohemia Historic was opened with the Ceremonial Start in the Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) in Mladá Boleslav yesterday. We are bringing some interesting news from the press conferences of the leading crews of the historic cars.
The evening Ceremonial start opened the 42nd Rally Bohemia, Rally Bohemia Historic as well as Rally Bohemia Legend in front of the crowded Staroměstské náměstí (square) in Mladá Boleslav. Some short press conferences were part of the ceremonial start.
42nd Rally Bohemia is the final round of Regional Rally Cup, the newly emerged Polish-German-Czech series. So it will be Rally Bohemia that will decide about the winners of this cup of the three countries.
The Ceremonial Start in Staroměstské náměstí (square) in Mladá Boleslav on Friday 10th July will be the common official opening of 42nd Rally Bohemia, Rally Bohemia Historic as well as Rally Bohemia Legend.
According to higher number of participants the organizer had to change the place of the station for mobile time check, refuel zone, tyres marking and the position of Medical Centre. All other places remain unaffected. This change is relevant to all Itineraries and Security Plan.
Spectators at Rally Bohemia special stages can choose from 23 spectator places. Motorsport may be dangerous, so the organizers’ instructions must be unconditionally obeyed.
The final start lists of all parts of this year Rally Bohemia comprise total 212 crews. It is a record number and the highest number of participants in the new history of the competition.

According to higher number of participants the Time Schedules had to be revised. All three competition groups are affected by this change - MČR + RRC, Rally Bohemia Historic and Rally Legend. Revised versions can be found in "Documents" section.
Almost fifty crews have been attracted to the participation in Rally Bohemia Historic, which has been included in FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship for the first time this year. Mladá Boleslav will welcome all currently leading crews of the European Championship in all the main four categories: "Pedro" - Baldaccini, Marenzana - Beltrame, Myrsell – Junttila and Norrgard - Hämäläinen. The complete top of the Czech Historic Rally Championship will be also present.
ŠKODA Motorsport team will put two cars with crews Jan Kopecký – Pavel Dresler and Esapekka Lappi – Janne Ferm into this year Bohemia Rally. The list of the crews registered includes overall 17 cars of top specifications R5, S2000 and WRC. Within the Czech Rally Championship and Regional Rally Cup, 123 crews have registered.
